One of the rarely discussed specialties that are critical for ensuring deals succeed is a brokerage's ability to constructively engage other brokerages. We pride ourselves on relationships and high discernment. Furthermore, we hold sacred our duty to represent our clients responsibly at each stage of the process, especially during the negotiating period with a counterparty.

We become strategic partners with our clients.

We enact a system that moves the market positioning process forward. We offer a valuation from NACVA-certified personnel and determine the best outreach strategies to notify qualified buyers and their representatives.

We manage the non-disclosure process, screen buyer interest (often letters of interest), and vet their financing capabilities. In negotiations, we uphold standards set forth by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), remain communicative with all relevant stakeholders, and utilize experienced third-party service providers to support the deal when appropriate (e.g., escrow attorneys, loan officers, and bankers).

Mergers & Acquisitions

God Bless Retirement offers guidance and representation for ownership groups, families, and individuals seeking an acquisition, full divestiture, or an injection of capital.

A negotiated sale typically involves counterparties. We are prepared and experienced in with strategic engagement and utilize an internal team's mindshare and third-party resources to ensure your value is upheld and CONFIDENTIALITY is maintained. Negotiated sales are among the most critical and valuable aspects provided by God Bless Retirement.

Store Front

God Bless Retirement (GBR) represents companies with less than $ 25 million EBITA (earnings before interest taxes and amortization) and offers services for companies in the United States.

GBR also maintains strategic partners abroad for any necessary international touchpoints.

Many of the acquiring counterparts for our clients are individuals, families, or funds with an interest in carrying on an acquired business with projections for growth.

To help ensure all stakeholders' success, GBR offers follow-on resources to support clients' transitions which include financing relationships for all parties, operational specialists to support counterparts (buyers), executive talent search to support counterparts (buyers), and retirement-related services to support clients (sellers).

GBR's strength and strategy are informed by experience and active representation of both sides of the market (buyers and sellers) in various sectors.

The Marketing Advantage

God Bless Retirement (GBR) was co-founded by Dr. Brandon Chicotsky, a marketing professor from the TCU Neeley School of Business—a top-tier institution in research, instruction, and programming. Effective marketing is foundational to our brokerage and pivotal in reaching qualified buyers. GBR orchestrates strategic positioning, messaging, and engagement on behalf of clients' listings.

Dr. Chicotsky is also the co-founder of the TCU Sales Center which offers a national-leading curriculum focused on consultative methods informed by industry executives. This approach informs GBR's negotiation excellence on behalf of clients.

GBR's capabilities in building and activating buyer interest are balanced with the critical functions and protections that keep your business listing CONFIDENTIAL. This balance is managed through careful curation of outreach on clients' behalf, as well as non-disclosures and counterparty control (i.e., leveraging law, strategy, and experience to protect clients).

Marketing functions involve five capabilities depending on the deal structure: (1) for more narrow and specialized deals, outbound direct engagement of search funds, brokers, qualified entrepreneurs, ownership groups, or family offices (i.e., legacy money with an aligned investment thesis); (2) controlled email activations of curated buyer lists, buyer matchmakers, and high-propensity prospects (e.g., owners of analogous businesses); (3) aggregate listing engagements that are internally managed with specialized software; (4) for high-visibility sales, public listings and strategic marketplace features; or (5) integrated advertising campaigns that include traditional and new media channels.

All buyer prospects are screened, researched, and qualified after their non-disclosure submission and before proceeding beyond the letter-of-intent stage (LOI). Their financing plan is among the most important factors considered in our due diligence of buyer prospects. We always factor in what buyer criteria our clients prefer. All buyer prospect engagements are pursued under CONFIDENTIALITY to protect the business operations and value from any disruption.

CONFIDENTIALITY is maintained through curated descriptions and careful listing placements. Negotiations are also managed in an internal project flow dashboard to ensure non-disclosures have been signed, LOIs are considered viable, and financing has been substantiated. This process is only part of the complexity and dynamism involved in a successful sale, all of which God Bless Retirement (GBR) takes pride in leading, managing, and executing on behalf of clients. This oversight and leadership from GBR offers clients ease and sufficient bandwidth to continue managing their business.

Strategic marketing capabilities balanced with CONFIDENTIALITY are among our unique propositions as a brokerage, as well as valuations from certified personnel and effective negotiations informed by consultative sales ethics.
